Tentcity 508th parachute Inf " group

We are the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment Living History Group, based in the United Kingdom near Nottingham in England.

The aim of 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment Living History Group is to portray members of the 508th PIR Circa 1944/1945.  The 508th PIR, attached to the 82nd Airborne Division were based on Wollaton Park in Nottingham before they went on to serve in Europe on D-Day, Operation Market Garden and the Ardennes during World War Two.   Group Members honour the memory of the veterans by attending shows all over the UK and Europe displaying and using the equipment that was used all those years ago by the original regiment.

By doing this, we aim to make people aware of what went on during the war years.
